Nice Article. Supposing you have an event driven architecture, is everything asyncrhonous ?

Namely, in your experience, If you build a REST API (json or whathever) on this architecture, and you need some results ASAP rendered on the frontend, does the event driven just over complicate the things instead of a simple PULL request?
